Redundancy Claims

Redundancy claims could be made if you have not received the statutory redundancy payment you are owed by your former employer.
To make a claim you must have two years’ continuous service before being made redundant and file your case within six months of being dismissed.
If you think the redundancy process was unfair or unreasonable then only one year of employment is needed but the claim must be made within three months of dismissal.
Employers must follow certain rules when making or considering redundancies and if they do not then it may be possible to make a claim. Check out accountant negligence claims.
